About HANABI PROJECT

It all started in the summer of 2017, when Jackson Tan and Talia Huang visited the Kashiwazaki Fireworks Festival from Singapore. They were deeply impressed by the stunning yet transient beauty of the fireworks, which blossomed across the sky and above the sea like an brilliant painting set on canvas. At the same time, the warm hospitality of the locals and the rich nature that engulfed the city touched their hearts.

This project started with the aim of conveying the culture, tradition, sceneries and friendships of Kashiwazaki, with an overarching theme of “Beautiful Seasons of Kashiwazaki”. Consists of project members from Kashiwazaki, Tokyo, Taiwan and Singapore.
